Axiant 4GL targets client/server deployments and connects to leading relational databases through SQL/ODBC, promoting portability and scalability. It also leverages Cognos PowerHouse concepts and metadata, enabling code reuse, consistent business rules, and a straightforward path from character-based to graphical user interfaces.
